Raritan Borough’s Recreation Commission maintains beautiful community parks throughout the community. These parks allow residents to stay active and enjoy time in the great outdoors. Frelinghuysen Park (Sherman Avenue) and Basilone Park (Woodmere Street) are the two largest parks in town. Both have community pools, playground equipment, athletic courts, trails, and more. Located just over the Raritan River in Hillsborough Township, Duke Farms (1112 Dukes Parkway West) has over 1,000 acres dedicated to preserving and sustaining the natural environment of the area. One of the top ranked school districts in the entire state, Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District educates Raritan Borough students, as well as students in neighboring Bridgewater Township.
