With schools, stores, restaurants, entertainment venues, parks and more located near residential neighborhoods, these New Jersey towns make walking or biking around town a breeze. Basking Ridge

The Basking Ridge area within Bernards Township is the perfect spot for those that like to walk. It has a Walk Score of 53. The downtown area around South Finley Avenue and South Maple Avenue is home to many amenities that can be easily accessible by foot. There are numerous restaurants and coffee shops. In addition, there are services, banks, pharmacies, and other retail spots that make completing chores a breeze. Although many of the areas of Bernardsville are residential, as you move closer to lovely downtown, the town becomes incredibly walkable.
